LRC Training

LRC Training was established by Llanelli Rural Council in 1988.

Our purpose originally was to provide work experience and training for unemployed adults. Unfortunately, we no longer provide this training. However, we do provide training and work experience for 16-18 year olds, as well as delivering qualifications to employed adults through our apprenticeship programmes. LRC Training remains a self-financing department within Llanelli Rural Council.

LRC Training delivers Apprenticeship Programmes in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration and Customer Service as part of the Skills Academy Wales partnership led by Neath Port Talbot College Group.

LRC Training is delivering Welsh Government’s new Employability Programme for 16-18 year olds. Jobs Growth Wales Plus, is delivered through subcontracted arrangements with ACT Ltd and ITEC Skills Ltd.

The LRC Training Website is currently under development.
