Saturday 8 November, 2014 saw Five Roads Heritage Society (FRHS) unveil their War Memorial to mark the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to coincide with the Great War Centenary.

Llanelli Rural Council contributed to the project by awarding the Society with a Community Development Grant. Mr Day, FRHS Secretary commented “It was a most successful and memorable weekend, made possible through the generosity of Llanelli Rural Council’.
